To ensure diversity, the EPA will establish a ceiling for each project type and geographical location. The EPA will select projects in rank order up until the point that the ceiling is reached. Thereafter, the next highest VerDate Sep<11>2014 18:46 Apr 04, 2019 Jkt 247001 project that adds diversity will be selected. The scoring scales and guidance used to evaluate each project against the selection criteria are available in the WIFIA program handbook.
