AGENCY:
ACTION:
The U.S. Coast Guard, as lead
agency, announces the availability of
the Record of Decision for the approved
Polar Security Cutter Programmatic
Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)
in accordance with the National
Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for
the Polar Security Cutter Program’s
design and build of up to six polar
icebreakers. This publication serves as
the Record of Decision on the final EIS
and includes a full summary of the
environmental analysis and
consequences.
DATES: The decision became operative
on March 18, 2019.
