Pennsylvania has scheduled a special general election on May 21, 2019, to fill the U.S. House of Representatives seat in the 12th Congressional District vacated by Representative Thomas A. Marino. Political committees participating in the Pennsylvania special general election are required to file pre- and post-election reports. The Commission is not requiring pre-election reports for candidates and committees involved in the special nominating caucuses due to time constraints. SUMMARY: Pennsylvania has scheduled a special general election on May 
21, 2019, to fill the U.S. House of Representatives seat in the 12th 
Congressional District vacated by Representative Thomas A. Marino.
