The notice of protest must identify the plat(s) of survey that the person or party wishes to protest. The notice of protest must be filed before the scheduled date of official filing for the plat(s) of survey being protested. Any notice of protest filed after the scheduled date of official filing will be untimely and will not be considered. A notice of protest is considered filed on the date it is received by the Chief Cadastral Surveyor for Oregon/ Washington during regular business hours; if received after regular business hours, a notice of protest will be considered filed the next business day. A written statement of reasons in support of a protest, if not filed with the notice of protest, must be filed with the Chief Cadastral Surveyor for Oregon/ Washington within 30 calendar days after the notice of protest is filed. If a notice of protest against a plat of survey is received prior to the scheduled date of official filing, the official filing of the plat of survey identified in the notice of protest will be stayed pending consideration of the protest. A plat of survey will not be officially filed until the next business day following dismissal or resolution of all protests of the plat. They provide advice to the BLM, and as needed the Forest Service, and resource managers regarding management plans and proposed resource actions on public land in southeast Oregon. Agenda items include recommendations regarding inventory for areas identified by the BLM needing public input in the Southeast Oregon and Lakeview Resource Management Plan Amendment processes with comments on management thereof; management of energy and minerals, timber, rangeland and grazing, commercial and dispersed recreation, wildland fire and fuels, and wild horses and burros; review and/or recommendations regarding proposed actions by Burns, Vale, or Lakeview BLM districts; and any other business that may reasonably come before the RAC. SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act 
of 1976 and the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972, the U.S. 
Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Southeast 
Oregon Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet as indicated below.

DATES: The Southeast Oregon RAC will meet Thursday and Friday, April 4-
5, 2019, at 8 a.m. Mountain Standard Time each day; and Wednesday and 
Thursday, June 12-13, 2019, at 8 a.m. Pacific Daylight Saving Time each 
day. A public comment period will be offered at 11 a.m. the second day 
of each meeting (April 5 and June 13).
