primary purpose of the HC webinar is to
prepare for the Pacific Council’s March
2019 agenda items. The HC’s task is to
develop recommendations for
consideration by the Pacific Council at
its March 2019 meeting. The HC will
discuss items related to salmon
rebuilding plans, essential fish habitat
for groundfish, and marine spatial
planning. A detailed agenda for the
webinar will be available on the Pacific
Council’s website prior to the meeting.
No management actions will be decided
by the HC.
Although non-emergency issues not

discussed, those issues may not be the

recreational advisory panel
recommendations and then provide
recommendations to the Council on
fishing year 2019 recreational measures
for Gulf of Maine cod and haddock, and
Georges Bank cod. They will discuss
and review input from the Recreational
Advisory Panel on the possibility of
public listening sessions for limited
access program. The committee plans to
discuss the Marine Recreational
Information Program (MRIP) allocation
of sampling by wave, and available forhire vessel trip report data on effort and
landings by wave. They will discuss
groundfish priorities for 2019 and
receive an update on progress of
Amendment 23/Groundfish Monitoring
and to be initiated Framework 59/

Measures as appropriate. Other business
