This document constitutes a notice of intent to provide a 30-day comment period on schedule changes to the approved information collection for the 2020 Census New Construction Program. The Department of Commerce, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing information collections, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The following highlights the proposed revisions and the reasons: 1. Publication of the list of governments eligible for participation in the New Construction Program by fall 2018 (p. 50333): The Census Bureau will publish the list of governments eligible for participation in the New Construction Program in early 2019, instead of fall 2018.
