Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Helicopters (Previously Eurocopter France) Helicopters
Document Number: 2018-27715
Type: Rule
Date: 2018-12-26
Agency: Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation
We are superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2016-25-19 for Airbus Helicopters (previously Eurocopter France) Model AS350B3 and EC130B4 helicopters. AD 2016-25-19 required inspecting the pilot's and co-pilot's throttle twist for proper operation. This new AD retains the requirements of AD 2016-25-19 and adds certain model helicopters to the applicability. The actions of this AD are intended to address an unsafe condition on these products.
Airworthiness Directives; Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation Helicopters
Document Number: 2018-27713
Type: Proposed Rule
Date: 2018-12-26
Agency: Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation
We are revising an earlier proposal for Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (Sikorsky) Model S-92A helicopters. This action revises the notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) by increasing the estimated costs of compliance and removing the daily inspection requirements. We are proposing this airworthiness directive (AD) to address the unsafe condition on these products. Since these actions would impose an additional economic burden over that proposed in the NPRM, we are reopening the comment period to allow the public the chance to comment on this change.

The amendments are intended to provide investors with a more comprehensive understanding of a registrant's mining properties, which should help them make more informed investment decisions. The amendments also will more closely align the Commission's disclosure requirements and policies for mining properties with current industry and global regulatory practices and standards. In addition, we are rescinding Industry Guide 7 and relocating the Commission's mining property disclosure requirements to a new subpart of Regulation S-K.

Type: Notice
Date: 2018-12-21

The document provides a scientific assessment of ecological effects and is not a regulation. The EPA submitted the draft document for external expert peer review and edited the document considering peer review comments. The EPA subsequently released the draft criteria document for a 90-day public comment period in July 2017. The EPA has considered the public comments and revised the document based on consideration of those comments. The final criteria document provides recommendations for states and authorized tribes to establish water quality standards under the Clean Water Act. The recommendations found in this document supersede the EPA's 1988 national recommended criteria for aluminum in ambient water.

The Register of Copyrights is directed to designate the mechanical licensing collective and the digital licensee coordinator that will carry out key functions under the new blanket license. The Office now solicits information to identify the appropriate entities to be designated. The information received in response to this notice of inquiry will be publicly posted, and interested members of the public may publicly comment on the submissions. After consideration of the record material, the Register will publish a notice in the Federal Register setting forth the identity of and contact information for the mechanical licensing collective and digital licensee coordinator, and the reasons for the designations.
