executive and administrative powers conferred on the Bureau of Consumer 
Financial Protection by section 1012 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street 
Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act), the Director 
established the Credit Union Advisory Council under agency authority.
    Section 3 of the CUAC Charter states: ``The purpose of the Advisory
