DATES: The public hearings will take
place December 3, 2018–January 17,
2019. The meetings and webinar will
begin at 6 p.m. and will conclude no

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The
agenda for the following ten in-person
hearings and one webinar are as follows:
Council staff will brief the public on the
purpose and need of the amendment.
The Council is currently considering
state management that would provide
flexibility to the Gulf states to set the
recreational red snapper fishing season
and potentially other management
measures. Council staff will also
provide an overview of the actions and
alternatives considered in the
amendment including the Council’s
preferred alternatives.
Staff and a State Representative
Council member will be available to
answer any questions, and the public
will have the opportunity to provide
testimony on the amendment and other
related testimony.

Broadband Workshop in Carson City,
Nevada on January 11, 2019. The
purpose of the Workshop is to engage
the public and stakeholders with
information to accelerate broadband
connectivity, improve digital inclusion,
and support local priorities. The
Workshop will provide information on
topics including local broadband
planning, funding, and engagement with
service providers. Speakers and
attendees from Nevada, federal agencies,
and across the country will come
together to explore ways to facilitate the
expansion of broadband capacity,
access, and utilization.
