proper performance of the agency’s
functions, (2) the accuracy of the
estimated burden, (3) ways to enhance
the quality, utility, and clarity of the
information to be collected, and (4) the
use of automated collection techniques
or other forms of information
technology to minimize the information
collection burden.

When the
NPDB Guidebook was last revised in
April 2015, substantial updates altered
the regulatory scope, content, and
display of the Guidebook. The new
Guidebook incorporates information
and infographics that augment or further
clarify existing Guidebook topics and
does not include any significant policy
changes. The new NPDB Guidebook is
now available at www.npdb.hrsa.gov.
