Notice is hereby given,
pursuant to the provisions of the rules
and regulations of the U.S. Commission
on Civil Rights (Commission), and the
Federal Advisory Committee Act
(FACA), that a planning meeting of the
Rhode Island State Advisory Committee
to the Commission will convene by
conference call, on Tuesday, October 16,
2018 at 11:00 a.m. (EDT). The purpose
of the meeting is to vote on the voting
rights report, review and possibly vote
on the predatory lending report, and
continue planning.

The Department of Commerce will
submit to the Office of Management and
Budget (OMB) for clearance the
following proposal for collection of
information under the provisions of the
Paperwork Reduction Act.
Agency: U.S. Census Bureau.
Title: 2020 Census.
The clearance requested from OMB is
for all data collection operations in the
2020 Census. The initial Federal
Register Notice described the 2020
Census in full. Approval for the 2020
Census is being sought from OMB in
phases. This Federal Register Notice
will provide details about the 2020
Census Address Canvassing operation
only. This is the operation that creates
the address list for the census, which
precedes census enumeration data
collection. The remaining operations
scoped for the 2020 Census, as listed
below, will be described in detail in a
future Federal Register Notice for an
additional 30-day comment period, and
the full census description will be
considered as a substantive change to
the approved OMB materials.
