    The staff of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC or 
Commission) has prepared an environmental assessment (EA) for the Line 
8000 Replacement Project (Project), proposed by Columbia Gas 
Transmission, LLC (Columbia) in the above-referenced docket. Columbia
