ACTION: Draft interim staff guidance; extension of comment period. AGENCY: On August 1, 2018, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) solicited comments on its draft Interim Staff Guidance (ISG) on Decommissioning Funding Plans (DFP) for materials licensees in the Federal Register. The public comment period was originally scheduled to close on September 17, 2018. The NRC has decided to extend the public comment period until October 5, 2018, to allow more time for industry and members of the public to develop and submit their comments. DATES: The due date for comments requested in the document published on August 1, 2018 (83 FR 37529), is extended. Comments should be filed no later than October 5, 2018. Comments received after this date will be considered, if it is practical to do so, but the Commission is able to ensure PO 00000 Frm 00068 Fmt 4703 Sfmt 4703 consideration only for comments received on or before this date.
