The National Science Board’s
Committee on National Science and
Engineering Policy (SEP), pursuant to
NSF regulations (45 CFR part 614), the
National Science Foundation Act, as
amended (42 U.S.C. 1862n–5), and the
Government in the Sunshine Act (5
U.S.C. 552b), hereby gives notice of the
scheduling of a teleconference for the
transaction of National Science Board
business, as follows:
TIME AND DATE: Tuesday, July 10, 2018
at 1:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. EDT.
PLACE: This meeting will be held by
teleconference at the National Science
Foundation, 2415 Eisenhower Avenue,
Alexandria, VA 22314. An audio link
will be available for the public.

Order Approving Indirect Transfer of
Control of License: Westinghouse
Electric Company, LLC
Nuclear Regulatory
Commission.
ACTION: Indirect transfer of license;
order.
AGENCY:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission (NRC) issued an Order
approving the indirect transfer of
several licenses for Westinghouse
Electric Company, LLC (Westinghouse).
Westinghouse is the holder of special
nuclear materials (SNM) license
numbers SNM–1107 and SNM–33,
which authorize the possession and use
of SNM at the Columbia Fuel
Fabrication Facility in Hopkins, South
Carolina, and Hematite Fuel Fabrication
Facility in Festus Township, Missouri,
respectively. Westinghouse is also the
holder of several export licenses as
noted in the Order. The Order approves
the indirect transfer of control of the
these licenses resulting from the
acquisition of Westinghouse’s
intermediate parent company, TSB
Nuclear Energy Services Inc., by
Brookfield WEC Holdings Inc., a
Delaware limited liability company,
which is ultimately owned and
controlled by Brookfield Asset
Management Inc., a Canadian company.
The Order became effective upon
issuance.
SUMMARY:
The Order was issued on June
28, 2018, and is effective until June 28,
2019.
