The project is located on the Yuba River, North Yuba River, Middle Yuba River, and Oregon Creek in Yuba, Sierra, and Nevada Counties, California, and occupies 4,416.7 acres of federal lands administered by the Forest Service and 16.1 acres administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The draft EIS contains staff’s evaluations of the applicant’s proposal and the alternatives for relicensing the Yuba River Development Project. The draft EIS documents the views of governmental agencies, nongovernmental organizations, affected Indian tribes, the public, the license applicant, and Commission staff. A copy of the draft EIS is available for review in the Commission’s Public Reference Branch, Room 2A, located at 888 First Street NE, Washington, DC 20426.
