Reporting and Recordkeeping Requirements Under OMB Review, 24547-24548 [2018-11436]

Download as PDF Federal Register / Vol. 83, No. 103 / Tuesday, May 29, 2018 / Notices rebates. The proposed change corrects this reference. B. Self-Regulatory Organization’s Statement on Burden on Competition The Exchange does not believe that the proposed rule change will impose any burden on competition not necessary or appropriate in furtherance of the purposes of the Act. The Exchange believes that the proposed changes will enhance both intermarket and intramarket competition by amending various fees and rebates related to the trading of Complex Orders on the Exchange. The Exchange believes that the proposed fees and rebates remain competitive with those on other options markets, and will continue to attract order flow to the Exchange, thereby encouraging additional volume and liquidity to the benefit of all market participants. The Exchange operates in a highly competitive market in which market participants can readily direct their order flow to competing venues. In such an environment, the Exchange must continually review, and consider adjusting, its fees and rebates to remain competitive with other exchanges. For the reasons described above, the Exchange believes that the proposed fee changes reflect this competitive environment. daltland on DSKBBV9HB2PROD with NOTICES C.
