Finance Committees, and take action as
appropriate.
The Council will receive agency and
liaison reports; and discuss other
business and upcoming meetings.

Although non-emergency issues not
contained in this agenda may come
before this group for discussion, those
issues may not be the subject of formal
action during this meeting. Action will
be restricted to those issues specifically
identified in this notice and any issues
arising after publication of this notice
that require emergency action under
section 305(c) of the Magnuson-Stevens
Fishery Conservation and Management
Act, provided the public has been
notified of the Council’s intent to take
final action to address the emergency.

The purpose of the meeting is to
review, revise, and develop the goals
and objectives of the draft Bering Sea
Fishery Ecosystem Plan, and discuss
metrics for measuring whether
objectives are being accomplished.
Revised goals and objectives will be
included in the next draft of the BS FEP,
which is scheduled to be reviewed by
the Council’s Ecosystem Committee in
July.
Public Comment
Public comment letters will be
accepted and should be submitted either
electronically to Diana Evans, Council

AGENCY:
The South Atlantic Fishery
Management Council (Council) will
hold a series of meetings of its Citizen
Science Advisory Panel Finance and
Infrastructure Action Team via webinar.
DATES: The meeting via webinar will be
held every other week on Wednesday at
1 p.m. starting June 13, 2018. The
schedule of meetings is Wednesday,
June 13; June 27; July 11; July 25; and
August 22, 2018. All of the meetings
will start at 1 p.m. and are scheduled to
last approximately 90 minutes each.

publish in a subsequent issue in the
Federal Register.

Atlantic Fishery Management Council
(Council) created a Citizen Science
Advisory Panel Pool in June 2017. The
Council appointed members of the
Citizen Science Advisory Panel Pool to
five Action Teams in the areas of
Volunteers, Data Management, Projects/
Topics Management, Finance and
Infrastructure, and Communication/
Outreach/Education to develop program
policies and operations for the Council’s
Citizen Science Program.
