ACTION:
The Food and Drug
Administration (FDA) announces a
forthcoming public advisory committee
meeting of the Antimicrobial Drugs
Advisory Committee. The general
function of the committee is to provide
advice and recommendations to FDA on
regulatory issues. The meeting will be
open to the public. FDA is establishing
a docket for public comment on this
document.
SUMMARY:
The meeting will be held on May
2, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Agenda: The committee will discuss
new drug application (NDA) 210303 for
plazomicin, sponsored by Achaogen,
Inc., for the proposed indications for the
treatment of complicated urinary tract
infections and blood stream infections
in adults.
FDA intends to make background
material available to the public no later
than 2 business days before the meeting.
If FDA is unable to post the background
material on its website prior to the
meeting, the background material will
be made publicly available at the
location of the advisory committee
meeting, and the background material
will be posted on FDA’s website after

Procedure: Interested persons may
