MATTERS TO BE CONSIDERED: The
Chemical Safety and Hazard
Investigation Board (CSB) will convene
a public meeting on Wednesday, April
4, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. EDT in Washington,
DC, at the CSB offices located at 1750
Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Suite 910.
The Board will discuss open
investigations, the status of audits from
the Office of the Inspector General,
financial and organizational updates,
and a review of the agency’s action plan.
The Board will also consider and
possibly vote on a proposed change to
Board Order 022, the CSB
Recommendations Program. New
business may include a discussion and
release of an animation related to the
CSB’s investigation of the February 2017
Packaging Corporation of America
incident in Deridder, Louisiana.

Notice is hereby given,
pursuant to the provisions of the rules
and regulations of the U.S. Commission
on Civil Rights (Commission), and the
Federal Advisory Committee Act
(FACA) that a meeting of the Virginia
Advisory Committee to the Commission
will convene by conference call at 12:00
p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, March 21,
2018. The purpose of the meeting is to
receive status reports from the Planning
Workgroup suggesting plans for
examining hate crimes in VA and to
make decisions as necessary.
