An estimate of the total number of respondents and the amount of time estimated for an average respondent to respond: It is estimated that there are 7,116 respondents, 7,116 annual responses, and that each response takes 1 hour to complete. 6. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Pursuant to regulation under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA) for information collections contained in a rulemaking, 5 CFR 1320.11(k), the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation is publishing this notice to inform the public that the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has approved a new collection of information. On December 22, 2017 (at 82 FR 60800), PBGC published a final rule amending its regulations on Missing Participants (29 CFR part 4050). This final rule expands PBGC’s Missing Participants Program for terminated single-employer defined benefit pension plans covered by PBGC’s insurance program to most defined contribution plans, multiemployer defined benefit pension plans, and small professional service defined benefit pension plans not covered by PBGC. The rule was effective on January 22, 2018, and applicable to plans that terminate on or after January 1, 2018.
