Notice is hereby given,

Government in Sunshine Act, Public
Law 94–409, that the Securities and
Exchange Commission Investor
Advisory Committee will hold a
meeting on Thursday, December 7, 2017
at 9:30 a.m. (ET).

The meeting will be held in

Seating will be on a first-come, firstserved basis. Doors will open at 9:00

checks. The meeting will be webcast on
the Commission’s Web site at

November 9, 2017, the Commission
issued notice of the Committee meeting
(Release No. 33–10435), indicating that
the meeting is open to the public
(except during that portion of the
meeting reserved for an administrative
work session during lunch), and
inviting the public to submit written
comments to the Committee. This
Sunshine Act notice is being issued
because a quorum of the Commission
may attend the meeting.
The agenda for the meeting includes:

discussion of a recommendation of the
Investor as Purchaser Subcommittee
regarding electronic delivery of
information to retail investors; a
discussion regarding retail investor
protections and transparency in
municipal and corporate bond markets;
a discussion regarding cybersecurity

recommendation of the Investor as
Owner Subcommittee); a discussion
regarding dual-class share structures
(which may include a recommendation

environmental and historic report that
addresses the effects, if any, of the
abandonment on the environment and
historic resources. OEA will issue an
environmental assessment (EA) by
December 8, 2017. Interested persons
may obtain a copy of the EA by writing
to OEA (Room 1100, Surface
Transportation Board, Washington, DC
20423–0001) or by calling OEA at (202)
245–0305. Assistance for the hearing
impaired is available through the
Federal Information Relay Service
(FIRS) at 1–800–877–8339. Comments
on environmental and historic
preservation matters must be filed
within 15 days after the EA becomes
available to the public.
Environmental, historic preservation,
public use, or trail use/rail banking
conditions will be imposed, where
appropriate, in a subsequent decision.
Pursuant to the provisions of 49 CFR
1152.29(e)(2), NSR shall file a notice of
consummation with the Board to signify
that it has exercised the authority
granted and fully abandoned the Line. If
consummation has not been effected by
NSR’s filing of a notice of
consummation by December 1, 2018,
and there are no legal or regulatory
