AGENCY:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission (NRC) has recently
submitted a request for renewal of an
existing collection of information to the
Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) for review. The information
collection is entitled, ‘‘NRC Form 354,
Data Report on Spouse.’’

II. Background
Under the provisions of the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44
U.S.C. Chapter 35), the NRC recently
submitted a request for renewal of an
existing collection of information to
OMB for review entitled, ‘‘NRC Form
354, Data Report on Spouse.’’ The NRC
hereby informs potential respondents
that an agency may not conduct or
sponsor, and that a person is not
required to respond to, a collection of
information unless it displays a
currently valid OMB control number.
The NRC published a Federal
Register notice with a 60-day comment
period on this information collection on
June 27, 2017, (82 FR 29118).

10. Abstract: NRC Form 354 must be
completed by NRC contractors,

Personnel Security Forms, or after
having been granted an NRC access
authorization or employment clearance.
Form 354 identifies the respondent, the
marriage, and data on the spouse and
spouse’s parents. This information
permits the NRC to make initial security
determinations and to assure there is no
increased risk to the common defense
and security.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Sections
4041 and 4042 of the Employee
Retirement Income Security Act of 1974,
as amended (ERISA), 29 U.S.C. 1301–
1461, govern the termination of singleemployer defined benefit pension plans
that are subject to Title IV of ERISA. A
plan administrator may initiate a
distress termination under section
4041(c), and PBGC may itself initiate
proceedings to terminate a pension plan
under section 4042 if PBGC determines
that certain conditions are present.
Sections 4041 and 4042 of ERISA were
amended by Section 506 of the Pension
Protection Act of 2006 (Pub. L. 109–280)
to require that, upon a request by an
affected party—
• A plan administrator must disclose
information it has submitted to PBGC in
