The information collection notice was previously published in the Federal Register on August 22, 2017, Vol. 82 FR 39899, allowing for a 60-day public comment period. USICE did not receive any comment relating to the 60-day notice. The purpose of this notice is to allow an additional 30 days for public comments. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) tip reporting capability will facilitate the collection of information from the public and law enforcement partners regarding allegations of crimes enforced by DHS. (5) An estimate of the total number of respondents and the amount of time estimated for an average respondent to respond: 122,723 responses at 10 minutes (.166) per response.
