the Drug Enforcement Administration
(DEA), 28 CFR 0.100(b). Authority to
exercise all necessary functions with
respect to the promulgation and
implementation of 21 CFR part 1301,
incident to the registration of
manufacturers, distributors, dispensers,
importers, and exporters of controlled
substances (other than final orders in
connection with suspension, denial, or
revocation of registration) has been
redelegated to the Assistant
Administrator of the DEA Office of
Diversion Control (‘‘Assistant
Administrator’’) pursuant to section 7 of
28 CFR part 0, appendix to subpart R.
In accordance with 21 CFR
1301.34(a), this is notice that on June
10, 2016, Anderson Brecon, Inc., DBA
PCI of Illinois, 5775 Logistics Parkway,
Rockford, Illinois 61109 applied to be
registered as an importer of Ajulemic
Acid (7370), a basic class of controlled
substance listed in schedule I.
The company plans to import the
listed controlled substances in overencapsulated tablets for clinical trial
only. Approval of permit applications
will occur only when the registrant’s
business activity is consistent with what
is authorized under 21 U.S.C. 952(a)(2).
Authorization will not extend to the
import of FDA approved or nonapproved finished dosage forms for
commercial sale.

Under the Clean Air Act
On November 9, 2017, the Department
of Justice lodged a proposed Consent
Decree with the United States District
Court for the Western District of
Washington in United States v. United
States Seafoods LLC, Seafreeze Alaska I
LLC, and Alaska Alliance LLC, Civil
Action No. 17–civ–01677.
The Consent Decree settles claims
brought by the United States for
violations of the Clean Air Act and
federal regulations promulgated
thereunder with respect to refrigeration
equipment owned and operated by
Defendants on two commercial fishing
vessels. Under the Consent Decree,
Defendant will undertake measures to
prevent future similar violations and
pay a civil penalty of $135,000.
The publication of this notice opens
a period for public comment on the
