has had only intermittent use and has
not generated power since June 7, 1995.
MWRA has determined that the cost of
maintaining the project is not
economically feasible, and therefore,

petitioned to surrender the exemption.
MWRA proposes maintain the valves to
the turbine in an off position, lock out
the electrical breaker from the generator,
and disconnect the leads to the
generator.
