National Museum and Library Services
Board, which advises the Director of the
Institute of Museum and Library
Services on general policies with
respect to the duties, powers, and
authority of the Institute relating to
museum, library and information
services, will meet on May 24, 2017.
The Executive Session on Wednesday,
May 24, 2017, from 1:15–2:30 p.m. will
be closed pursuant to subsections (c)(4)
and (c)(9) of section 552b of Title 5,
United States Code because the Board
will consider information that may
disclose: Trade secrets and commercial
or financial information obtained from a
person and privileges or confidential;
and information the premature
disclosure of which would be likely to
significantly frustrate implementation of
a proposed agency action. The meeting

its intent to grant an exclusive patent
license in the United States to practice
the invention described and claimed in
U.S. Patent No. 6,917,203 entitled
‘‘Current Signature Sensor,’’ KSC–
12220, to Graftel, LLC, having its
principal place of business in Elk Grove
Village, IL.
DATES: The prospective exclusive
license may be granted unless, within
fifteen (15) days from the date of this
published notice, NASA receives
written objections including evidence
and argument that establish that the
grant of the license would not be
consistent with the requirements
regarding the licensing of federally
owned inventions as set forth in the
Bayh-Dole Act and implementing
regulations. Competing applications
completed and received by NASA
within fifteen (15) days of the date of
this published notice will also be
treated as objections to the grant of the
contemplated exclusive license.
Objections submitted in response to this
notice will not be made available to the
public for inspection and, to the extent
permitted by law, will not be released
under the Freedom of Information Act.
