substitute mortality tables under section
430(h)(3)(C) of the Code. Past revenue
procedures were superseded.
Current Actions: There are no changes
being made to the revenue procedure at
this time.
Type of Review: Extension of a
currently approved collection.
Affected Public: Business or other forprofit organizations, not-for-profit
institutions and farms.
Estimated Number of Responses: 450.
Estimated Annual Average Time per
Response: 56.44 hours.

Abstract: Form 8835 is used to claim
the renewable electricity production
credit. The credit is allowed for the sale
of electricity produced in the United
States or U.S. possessions from qualified
energy resources. The IRS uses the
information reported on the form to
ensure that the credit is correctly
computed.
Current Actions: There are changes in
the paperwork burden previously
approved by OMB. The removal of items
for responders to fill out has decreased
burden.
