The supplemental letters dated October 12, 2016, and December 16, 2016, provided additional information that clarified the application, did not expand the scope of the application request as noticed on September 13, 2016, and did not change the staff’s proposed no significant hazards consideration determination as published in the Federal Register on September 13, 2016. The Commission’s related evaluation of the amendments is contained in a Safety Evaluation dated March 27, 2017. Brief description of amendment: The amendment revised Technical Specification Surveillance Requirement (SR) 3.0.2 to extend, on a one-time basis, SRs listed in Attachments 8, 10, and 11 to Enclosure 1 of the application that are normally performed on an 18-month frequency in conjunction with a refueling outage.
