The Exchange proposes to amend its
Price List to provide that the monthly
DMM credit for certain securities will be
prorated to the number of trading days
in a month that a security is assigned to
a DMM. The Exchange proposes to
implement this change to its Price List
effective March 29, 2017. The proposed
change is available on the Exchange’s
Web site at www.nyse.com, at the
principal office of the Exchange, and at
the Commission’s Public Reference
Room.

Statutory Basis for, the Proposed Rule
Change
In its filing with the Commission, the
self-regulatory organization included
statements concerning the purpose of,
and basis for, the proposed rule change
and discussed any comments it received
on the proposed rule change. The text

The Exchange has prepared summaries,

A. Self-Regulatory Organization’s

Statutory Basis for, the Proposed Rule
Change
1. Purpose
The Exchange proposes to amend its
Price List to provide that the monthly
DMM credit for certain securities will be
prorated to the number of trading days
in a month that a security is assigned to
a DMM. The proposed change is the
same as that adopted by the Exchange’s
affiliate New York Stock Exchange LLC
for its DMMs.4
The proposed changes would apply to
both credits in transactions in securities
priced $1.00 or more and those priced
below $1.00.
