Under section 5306 of the FAST Act, the PAR was charged with reviewing post-accident reports and made recommendations on the data elements required by the reports and modifications that may improve their use through the addition of data elements at its meeting in December 2016. At this meeting, the PAR will provide suggestions concerning the implementation of its recommendations to the FMCSA Administrator. The meeting is open to the public for its entirety. ACTION: Notice of RTCA charter renewal.

SUMMARY: The FAA is issuing this notice to advise the public of the 
renewal of the RTCA Charter (FAA Order 1110.77W) for 6 months, 
effective April 1, 2017. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is 
authorized to establish the RTCA advisory committee in accordance with 
the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). The 
current charter agreement requires that the RTCA manage various Federal
