I. Self-Regulatory Organization’s
Statement of the Terms of Substance of
the Proposed Rule Change
The Exchange proposes to amend the
Exchange’s Pricing Schedule at Section
II, entitled ‘‘Multiply Listed Options
Fees,’’ 3 to amend pricing related to
options overlying NDX 4 and MNX.5

Change
In its filing with the Commission, the
Exchange included statements
concerning the purpose of and basis for
the proposed rule change and discussed
any comments it received on the
proposed rule change. The text of these

Exchange has prepared summaries, set
forth in sections A, B, and C below, of

1. Purpose
The Exchange proposes to amend
pricing related to NDX and MNX by
adopting Options Transaction Charges
for NDX and MNX and also eliminating
the Marketing Fee for NDX and MNX.6
The Exchange notes that both NDX and
MNX are transitioning to be exclusively
listed on the Exchange and its affiliated
markets in 2017.7
Today, the Exchange assesses
transactions in NDX and MNX the
following Options Transaction Charges
for non-Penny Pilot Options: A $0.75
per contract for electronic Professional 8
transactions and $0.25 per contract for
floor Professional transactions; $0.25
per contract for Specialist 9 and Market
Maker 10 electronic transactions and
