ACTION: Notice, extension of comment period. AGENCY: On January 9, 2017, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a draft notice of the rationale for granting petitions to add n-propyl bromide (nPB), also known as 1bromopropane (1-BP) (Chemical Abstract Service No. 106–94–5), to the list of hazardous air pollutants contained in section 112(b)(1) of the Clean Air Act. The EPA is extending the comment period on the draft notice that was scheduled to close on March 10, 2017, by 90 days until June 8, 2017. The EPA is making this interim extension as an initial response to allow adequate consideration of a request to extend the comment period by more than 6 months. DATES: The public comment period for the proposed rule published in the Federal Register on January 9, 2017 (82 FR 2354), is being extended.
