The licensee received a 40-year license for the project on September 12, 1984. The licensee states that in order to facilitate a basin-wide relicensing approach with several other nearby projects, it needs to extend the license term to synchronize the license expiration dates with those other projects. The licensee’s request includes letters from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation supporting the license extension. k.
