AGENCY: On December 16, 2016, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) solicited comments on draft NUREG–1556, Volume 21, Revision 1, ‘‘Consolidated Guidance About Materials Licenses: Program-Specific Guidance About Possession Licenses for Production of Radioactive Material Using an Accelerator.’’ The public comment period was originally scheduled to close on January 20, 2017. The NRC has decided to extend the public comment period to allow more time for members of the public to develop and submit their comments.
