and/or professional affiliations, and to
allow the Bureau to perform a
background check. The Bureau will not
review nominations and will not answer

The Bureau will not entertain
nominations of federally registered
lobbyists and individuals who have
been convicted of a felony for a position
on the Council.

given consideration for review of

Corporation for National and

ACTION: Notice.
AGENCY:
The Corporation for National
and Community Service (CNCS), as part
of its continuing effort to reduce
paperwork and respondent burden,
conducts a pre-clearance consultation
program to provide the general public
and federal agencies with an
opportunity to comment on proposed
and/or continuing collections of
information in accordance with the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This
program helps to ensure that requested
data can be provided in the desired
format, reporting burden (time and
financial resources) is minimized,
collection instruments are clearly
understood, and the impact of collection
requirement on respondents can be
properly assessed.
Currently, CNCS is soliciting
comments concerning its proposed
renewal of the President’s Higher
Education Community Service Honor
Roll. The President’s Higher Education
Community Service Honor Roll
recognizes higher education institutions
that reflect the values of exemplary
community service and achieve
meaningful outcomes in their
communities. The Honor Roll is part of
