Tentative Agenda/Topics for
Discussion: This is the third periodic
meeting of the Advisory Committee on
Risk-Sharing Mechanisms. In this
meeting, the Committee will discuss
issues related to whether the Terrorism
Risk Insurance Program (TRIP) could be
altered, and if so, the extent to which
nongovernmental private reinsurance
and capital markets capacity is available
to replace TRIP support and the longterm viability of such support. The
Committee will also discuss the
formation of Subcommittees to further
investigate these questions.
