SUMMARY: The Department of the Army is publishing this notice to 
announce the following Federal advisory committee meeting of the 
Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (WHINSEC) Board 
of Visitors. This meeting is open to the public.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The committee meeting is being held under 
the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972 (5 U.S.C., 
Appendix, as amended), the Government in the Sunshine Act of 1976 (5 
U.S.C. 552b, as amended), 41 CFR 102-3.140(c), and 41 CFR 102-3.150.
    Purpose of the Meeting: The Western Hemisphere Institute for 
Security Cooperation (WHINSEC) Board of Visitors (BoV) is a non-
discretionary Federal Advisory Committee chartered to provide the 
Secretary of Defense, through the Secretary of the Army, independent 
advice and recommendations on matters pertaining to the curriculum, 
instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, and academic

methods of the Institute; other matters relating to the Institute that 
the Board decides to consider; and other items that the Secretary of 
Defense determines appropriate. The Board reviews curriculum to
