The meeting will be open to public participation with a 10-minute public comment period on November 22, 2016, from 3:45 p.m. to 3:55 p.m. (check agenda on Web site to confirm time.) The Committee expects that public statements presented at its meetings will not be repetitive of previously submitted verbal or written statements. In general, each individual or group making a verbal presentation will be limited to a total time of three (3) minutes. These changes were enacted as part of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act), Public Law 111–203, 1471, 124 Stat. 1376, 2185 (2010). Section 1471 of the DoddFrank Act adds a new section to TILA, section 129H, addressing appraisal requirements for higher-risk mortgage loans.
