Secretary’s Advisory Committee on
Animal Health (SACAH or the
Committee) advises the Secretary of
Agriculture on strategies, policies, and
programs to prevent, control, or
eradicate animal diseases. The
Committee considers agricultural
initiatives of national scope and
significance and advises on matters of
public health, conservation of national
resources, stability of livestock
economies, livestock disease
management and traceability strategies,
prioritizing animal health imperatives,
and other related aspects of agriculture.

The Committee Chairperson and Vice
Chairperson are elected by the
Committee from among its members.
Terms will expire for the current
members of the Committee in April or
August 2017. We are soliciting
nominations from interested
organizations and individuals. An
organization may nominate individuals
from within or outside its membership.
Individuals may nominate themselves
or someone else. Nomination forms are
available on the Internet at https://

members to obtain the broadest possible
representation on the Committee, in

Notice of Public Meeting.
The Economic and Statistics
Administration (ESA) is giving notice of
the fifth meeting of the Commerce Data
Advisory Council (CDAC). The CDAC
will discuss Council recommendations,
the institutionalization of the Commerce
Data Service, as well as other Council
matters. The CDAC will meet in a
plenary session on Friday, October 28,
2016. Last-minute changes to the
schedule are possible, which could
prevent giving advance public notice of
schedule adjustments.
DATES: October 28, 2016. On Friday,
October 28th, the meeting will begin at
approximately 9:00 a.m. and end at
approximately 5:00 p.m. (ET).
