The LES is an initiative mandated by the Acting Administrator, DEA, to assess and improve competencies and proficiency of leadership across the DEA. 5. An estimate of the total number of respondents and the amount of time estimated for an average respondent to respond: It is estimated that approximately 5000 respondents will complete the survey within approximately 45 minutes. 6. An estimate of the total public burden (in hours) associated with the collection: The estimated public burden associated with this collection is 3750 hours. It is estimated that respondents will take 45 minutes to complete the survey. In order to calculate the public burden for the survey, 45 minutes was multiplied by 5000 and divided by 60 which equals 3750 total annual burden hours.
