Summary of Collection: The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has been delegated the authority to exercise the functions of the Secretary as provided in the Federal Meat Inspection Act (FMIA) (21 U.S.C. 601 et. seq.), the Poultry Products Inspection Act (PPIA) (21 U.S.C. 451, et. seq.), and the Egg Products Inspection Act (EPIA) (21 U.S.C. 1031). These statues mandate that FSIS protect the public by verifying that meat and poultry products are safe, wholesome, not adulterated, and properly labeled and packaged. Need and Use of the Information: FSIS will collect information using the Annual Contact Update form to maintain necessary information for responsible connected personnel at the laboratories. Notice of Intent (NOI) to Prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact AGENCY: ACTION: PO 00000 Frm 00001 Fmt 4703 Sfmt 4703 Statement (SEIS) for the Nez PerceClearwater National Forests Travel Planning Project. The Forest Service is giving notice of its intent to prepare a SEIS for the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests Travel Planning project on the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests, Idaho. A complaint was filed on December 5, 2013 against the January 2012 Clearwater National Forest Travel Planning Record of Decision (ROD). On March 11, 2015 the United States District Court for the State of Idaho issued a Memorandum Decision and Order remanding the Travel Plan, Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS), and Record of Decision for reconsideration and further evaluation. The Clearwater Travel Planning FEIS evaluated the potential effects of five alternatives, including No Action and four action alternatives. The Nez Perce-Clearwater Forest Supervisor will issue a new ROD after evaluating the SEIS and public comments. An objection period for the new ROD will be provided, consistent with 36 CFR part 218. SUMMARY: Authority: This NOI is being published pursuant to regulations (40 CFR 1508.22) implementing the procedural provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, as amended (42 U.S.C. 4321 et seq.). Scoping: A NOI published on November 28, 2007 initiated the scoping period for the Clearwater National Forest Travel Planning project. A legal notice advertising the start of a 30-day scoping period was advertised in the Lewiston, Idaho Lewiston Tribune on November 13, 2007. The scoping period was later extended to February 29, 2008.
