The NVAC was established to provide advice and make recommendations to the Director of the National Vaccine Program on matters related to the Program’s responsibilities. The Assistant Secretary for Health serves as Director of the National Vaccine Program. The September 2016 NVAC meeting will include a discussion of the 2010 National Vaccine Plan Mid-course Review. The NVAC’s Mid-course Review Working Group and the Maternal Immunization Working Group will also present their findings and recommendations for deliberation and vote by the Committee.
