Notice is hereby given that, on July 7,
2016, pursuant to Section 6(a) of the
National Cooperative Research and
Production Act of 1993, 15 U.S.C. 4301
et seq. (‘‘the Act’’), Heterogeneous
System Architecture Foundation (‘‘HSA
Foundation’’) has filed written
notifications simultaneously with the
Attorney General and the Federal Trade
Commission disclosing changes in its
membership. The notifications were
filed for the purpose of extending the
Act’s provisions limiting the recovery of
antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages
under specified circumstances.
Specifically, Friedrich-AlexanderUniversity Erlangen-Nurnberg (FAU),
Erlangen, GERMANY, has been added
as a party to this venture.
Also, Sonics, Inc., Milpitas, CA;
Tensilica, Inc., Santa Clara, CA;
STMicroelectronics International,
Amsterdam, THE NETHERLANDS;
Analog Devices, Inc., Norwood, MA;
Industrial Technology Research Institute
of Taiwan, Hsinchu, TAIWAN; VIA
Technologies, Inc., New Taipei City,
TAIWAN; System Software Lab
National Tsing Hua University,
Hsinchu, TAIWAN; and Tsinghua
University, Beijing, PEOPLE’S
REPUBLIC OF CHINA, have withdrawn
as parties to this venture. No other
changes have been made in either the
membership or planned activity of the
group research project. Membership in
this group research project remains
open, and HSA Foundation intends to
file additional written notifications
disclosing all changes in membership.
On August 31, 2012, HSA Foundation
filed its original notification pursuant to
Section 6(a) of the Act. The Department
of Justice published a notice in the
Federal Register pursuant to Section
6(b) of the Act on October 11, 2012 (77
FR 61786).
The last notification was filed with
the Department on April 12, 2016. A
notice was published in the Federal

Federal Register pursuant to Section
6(b) of the Act on October 2, 2015 (80

The last notification was filed with
the Department on May 23, 2016. A
notice was published in the Federal
Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of the
Act on June 21, 2016 (81 FR 40350).
