SUMMARY: The Department of Commerce (the Department) preliminarily determines that large residential washers (LRWs) from the People’s Republic of China (PRC) are being, or are likely to be, sold in the United States at less than fair value (LTFV), as provided in section 733 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the Act). The period of investigation (POI) is April 1, 2015, through September 30, 2015. The estimated margins of sales at LTFV are shown in the ‘‘Preliminary Determination’’ section of this notice. The revised deadline for the preliminary determination is July 19, 2016.3 Scope of the Investigation The products covered by this investigation are LRWs. For a full description of the scope of this investigation, see the ‘‘Scope of the Investigation,’’ in Appendix I of this notice. Scope Comments In accordance with the Preamble to the Department’s regulations,4 the Initiation Notice set aside a period of time for parties to raise issues regarding product coverage (i.e., scope).5 Certain interested parties commented on the scope of the investigation, as it appeared in the Initiation Notice. After consideration of these comments, we preliminarily determined not to amend the scope as published in the Initiation Notice.
