Treasury, as part of its continuing effort
to reduce paperwork and respondent
burden, invites the general public and
other Federal agencies to take this
opportunity to comment on proposed
and/or continuing information
collections, as required by the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995,
Public Law 104–13 (44 U.S.C.
3506(c)(2)(A)). Currently, the IRS is
soliciting comments Notice 2010–54,

Abstract: This notice sets forth
interim guidance pending the issuance
of regulations relating to the tax credit
under § 45 of the Internal Revenue Code
(Code) for refined coal.
Current Actions: There are no changes
being made to the notice at this time.
Type of Review: Extension of
currently approved collection.
Affected Public: Business and forprofit.

Abstract
Section 3702(c) of Title 38, U.S.C.
states that any veteran may apply to the
Secretary for a COE. A completed VA
Form 26–1817 constitutes a formal
request by an un-remarried surviving
spouse for a COE.
An agency may not conduct or
sponsor, and a person is not required to
respond to a collection of information
unless it displays a currently valid OMB
control number. The Federal Register
Notice with a 60-day comment period
soliciting comments on this collection
of information was published at 81 FR
07444 on April 4, 2016.
