AGENCY:
The Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) today is reopening the
public comment period on the proposed
rule and Supplemental Environmental
Impact Statement to designate one
dredged material disposal site, the
Eastern Long Island Sound Disposal Site
(ELDS), located offshore from New
London, Connecticut, for the disposal of
dredged material from harbors and
navigation channels in eastern Long
Island Sound in the states of
Connecticut and New York. The
proposed rule published on April 27,
2016 (81 FR 24748). This action is
necessary to provide a long-term, openwater dredged material disposal site as
an alternative for the possible future
disposal of such material.
DATES: Comments must be received on
or before July 18, 2016.

We, the U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service (Service), announce the
reopening of the comment period on our
June 17, 2015, proposed rule to remove
the eastern puma (=cougar) (Puma
(=Felis) concolor couguar) from the
Federal List of Endangered and
Threatened Wildlife. We are reopening
the comment period for 30 days to
conduct peer review. Interested parties
are also afforded this additional
opportunity to comment on the
proposed rule; comments previously
submitted need not be resubmitted, as
they will be fully considered in
preparation of the final listing
determination.
SUMMARY:
To allow us adequate time to
consider comments on the proposed
rule, we must receive them on or before
July 28, 2016.
