ACTION: Notice. AGENCY: This Notice announces that the Rural Business-Cooperative Service (Agency) is accepting fiscal year (FY) 2016 applications for the Value-Added Producer Grant (VAPG) program. Approximately $44 million is available to help agricultural producers enter into value-added activities for FY 2016, including approximately $30.25 million available through the Agricultural Act of 2014 (2014 Farm Bill), $10.75 million through the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2016 and $3 million in carryover funding. DATES: You must submit your application by July 1, 2016 or it will not be considered for funding. Paper applications must be postmarked and mailed, shipped or sent overnight by this date.
