will not have an adverse impact on the
sufficiency of supply or reliability of the
U.S. electric power supply system.

Notice of public meeting.
SUMMARY:
The U.S. Department of
Energy (DOE) is implementing a
consent-based siting process to establish
an integrated waste management system
to transport, store, and dispose of spent
nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive
waste. In a consent-based siting
approach, DOE will work with
communities, tribal governments and
states across the country that express
interest in hosting any of the facilities
identified as part of an integrated waste
management system. As part of this
process, the Department is hosting a
series of public meetings to engage
communities and individuals and
discuss the development of a consentbased approach to managing our
nation’s nuclear waste. A public
meeting will be held in Sacramento, CA
on April 26, 2016.
DATES: The meeting will take place on
Tuesday April 26, 2016 from 5:00 p.m.
to 9:30 p.m. PDT. Informal poster
sessions will be held from 4:00 p.m.
until 5:00 p.m. PDT and again after 9:30
p.m. PDT. Department officials will be
available to discuss consent-based siting
during the poster sessions.

In compliance with the
Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA), this
document announces that EPA is
planning to submit an Information
Collection Request (ICR) to the Office of
Management and Budget (OMB). The
ICR, entitled: ‘‘Use of Mercury and
Mercury Compounds in Products and
Processes’’ and identified by EPA ICR
No. 2532.01 and OMB Control No.
2070–NEW, represents a new request.
Before submitting the ICR to OMB for
review and approval, EPA is soliciting
comments on specific aspects of the
proposed information collection that is
summarized in this document. The ICR
and accompanying material are
available in the docket for public review
and comment.
