Resource Advisory Committee (RAC)

The committee is authorized under the
Secure Rural Schools and Community
Self-Determination Act (Pub. L. 110–
343) (the Act) and operates in
compliance with the Federal Advisory
Committee Act. The purpose of the
committee is to improve collaborative
relationships and to provide advice and
recommendations to the Forest Service
concerning projects and funding
consistent with Title II of the Act. The

Advisory Committee To Discuss
Findings and Recommendations
Regarding Civil Rights and
Environmental Justice in the State
U.S. Commission on Civil
Rights.
ACTION: Announcement of meeting.
AGENCY:
Notice is hereby given,
pursuant to the provisions of the rules
and regulations of the U.S. Commission
on Civil Rights (Commission) and the
Federal Advisory Committee Act that
the Illinois Advisory Committee
(Committee) will hold a meeting on
Friday, April 01, 2016, at 12:00 p.m.
CDT. The purpose of this meeting is to
review and discuss testimony received
regarding civil rights and environmental
justice in the State, in preparation to
draft an advisory memorandum to the
Commission on the topic. This study is
in support of the Commission’s
nationally focused 2016 statutory
enforcement study.
This meeting is available to the public
through the following toll-free call-in

public may call this number and listen
to the meeting. An open comment
period will be provided to allow
members of the public to make a
statement at the end of the meeting. The
