Abstract: The Office of Science and
Technology, Forensic Services offers the
National Firearms Examiner Academy
(NFEA) training program for entry level
firearms and toolmark examiners. This
program is designed in part to address
the critical law enforcement needs of
the services provided by firearms and
toolmark examiners, and is to be offered
qualified applicants from state, local,
and federal law enforcement agencies
and to newly appointed ATF firearms
and toolmark examiners.
5. An estimate of the total number of
respondents and the amount of time
estimated for an average respondent to
respond: An estimated 75 respondents
will take 12 minutes to complete the
questionnaire.
6. An estimate of the total public
burden (in hours) associated with the
collection: The estimated annual public
burden associated with this collection is
15 hours.
